Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the efforts of physical education teachers at state junior high schools in Sidrap Regency in implementing the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research with a one-shot case study approach with one-time data collection. The method used in this study is a survey method while collecting data using a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the efforts of physical education teachers at State High Schools in Sidrap Regency in implementing the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic are described in 8 indicators, namely: 80% of physical education teachers have an understanding of the characteristics of their students, 83.33% of physical education teachers have the ability to provide guidance to grow the potential and motor skills of students in the physical education learning process, 100% of physical education teachers have the ability to carry out physical education learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, 65% of physical education teachers experience obstacles in implementing the physical education learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, 100 % of physical education teachers have an understanding of implementing learning at home according to the direction of the Ministry of Education and Culture, 100% of physical education teachers have the ability to utilize online learning media such as watsapp, Microsoft teams, zoom and so on, 100% of physical education teachers have the same perception of the teaching and learning process at home , and 77.78% of physical education teachers understand limited what are the obstacles experienced by students in the physical education learning process at home.
