Abstract

ABSTRACT This research has a positive impact on the development of fisheries texts in litotes learning as part of semantics. The content analysis method was used in this study. The research sample was 120 students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Universitas Negeri Makassar. The research instrument is the researcher himself as a key instrument that functions to collect data, process data, and interpret the structure of the fisheries text litotes. The research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences regarding the structure and semantic roles of Indonesian language fisheries text litotes. Collecting data by giving assignments to students to write fisheries texts. This research was conducted for 7 months in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The results showed that the word structure of fishery litotes, the presence of adverbials and adjectives is more dominant than the other words.
