Abstract

ABSTRACT The hamstring muscle can be injured suddenly, with symptoms of pain in the back of the thigh or until it inhibits activity. After a hamstring injury, the knee cannot move more than 30-40 degrees. A hamstring injury can stop any exercise or sporting activity. In sports athletes, for example, the hamstring muscles play a very important role when the athlete changes position. Effect of Active Stretching and Kinesiotapping on Changes in Hamstring Muscle Pain in Soccer Players. This study aims to determine "the effect of Active Stretching and kinesiotapping on changes in hamstring muscle pain in Daya Fc football players in Daya Makassar". This research is a pre-experimental design with one group pretest – post test. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling as many as 20 people who experienced hamstring muscle pain. The intervention given is giving Active Stretching and kinesiotapping 2 times a week, for 4 weeks. The measuring instrument of this research is VAS (Visual Analogue Scale).
