Abstract

Abstract: The Use of Satirical Language Style in The Webtoon Pak Guru Inyong By Anggoro Ihank. This study aims to describe the form and function of using satire language style in the webtoon Pak Guru Inyong by Anggoro Ihank. The research data source is the webtoon Pak Guru Inyong by Anggoro Ihank from episodes 1-80. Data collection techniques were carried out by documentation and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique is carried out in two steps, namely the beginning or processing which includes the stages of examination, classification, and coding. The second step is the development or continuation stage in the form of elaborating the results of suppressing the form and function of satire language style data using semantics and stylistics as a science that plays a role in supporting. The results of the study reveal that the forms of using satire language style in Pak Guru Inyong's webtoon are the forms of cynicism, sarcasm, satirical satire, meiosis and antifrasis. Furthermore, the function of using satire language style includes the function of imaginative pleasure, influencing or reading and the function of searching for meaning.
