Abstract

The Influence of Using Bugis Song Media on Learning Outcomes of Writing Narrative Texts in Bugis Language in Watansoppeng. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of using Bugis song media on learning outcomes to write narrative text in Bugis language in Watansoppeng. The research method used in this study was pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique is a test which is divided into pretest and posttest. The population of this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Watansoppeng for the academic year 2020-2021 with a total of 192 students. Sampling was taken by random sampling technique. The results showed that before using the Bugis song media it was in the low category with an average score of 63.33, after using the Bugis song media it was in the high category with an average score of 85.63. Based on the results of the hypothesis test p-value <0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05, there is a significant effect of using Bugis song media on the learning outcomes of writing narrative text in Bugis language in Watansoppeng.
