Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of entrepreneurial character-based life skills learning at the basic education level. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach using a coding system. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation and interviews. Informants in this study were principals and teachers at SDN 90 Mattumpu. Data analysis with coding system was carried out in 2 stages, namely initial coding and focused coding. The results of this study found that teachers at SDN 90 Mattumpu already know and understand entrepreneurial character education and entrepreneurial values but have not implemented it optimally. Another finding shows that the principal and teachers of SDN 90 Mattumpu acknowledge that the values of entrepreneurial character are very important to be applied to students so that they have the basic provisions so that they are introduced to and interested in entrepreneurship activities. The development of learning in the perspective of entrepreneurship education at the basic education level is directed at the development of various academic skills and social skills (soft skills) which are internalized in general life skills.
