Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential for bankruptcy with the Springate Method in cosmetic companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The type of data used is secondary data. The data collection technique used is documentation. Based on the analysis of bankruptcy using the springate method, the results show that the cosmetic companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that are categorized as healthy or not potentially bankrupt in 2016-2020 are PT Kino Indonesia Tbk and PT Unlever Indonesia Tbk. The companies that have the potential to go bankrupt because they have an S-Score ratio of < 0.862 are PT Akasha Wira Internasional in 2016 and 2017, PT Martina Berto Tbk in 2017-2020, PT Mustika Ratu Tbk in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020, the last PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk in 2020.
