Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide aninitialdescription of the teacher's ability to improve the making of media presentations, to measure an overview of the 8implementation of media presentation training, and to find out whether there is an impact of media presentation training on increasing the hard skills of teachers at the Yapid At�taubah Islamic Boarding School, Polewali Mandar Regency. This research was carried out using a quantitative approach with the type of research method used was a quasi�experimental type with a method that only used one treatment group and did not use a control group. The sample of this research is Islamic boarding school teachers, totaling 14 people. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and tests, as well as supporting documentation in this study. The interview technique consists of interviews before the implementation of training to teachers. The test consists of a pretest given before the media presentation training is carried out and a posttest given after the media presentation training is carried out. Data analysisoused descriptive statistical analysisqand inferentialostatistical analysis by testing the hypothesis using thept-test. Based on the results of datauanalysis and the t-test, the average value of the teacher's ability to make media presentations was obtained at the Yapid At-taubah Islamic Boarding School, Polewali Mandar Regency. After the media presentation training was carried out, it was higher than before the media presentation training was carriedwout. The resultseof this studyxindicate that media presentation training waswfound to have a positive impact on increasing the hard skills of teachers in developing learning media at the Yapid At-taubah Islamic Boarding School, Polewali Mandar Regency.
