Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine community participation in sports in terms of sports facilities and infrastructure Hasanuddin Field Makassar City. Community participation in terms of variables consisting of needs, benefits and attitudes. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with survey or observation methods. The research trial was conducted in Hasanuddin Field, Makassar City with a sample of 20 people. Collecting data using a questionnaire / questionnaire. The validation test uses the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique for reliability testing using the Alpha Cronbach formula with a value of 0.755. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with a total sample of 60 people in all units that provide sports facilities in Hasanuddin Field, Makassar City. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis with a percentage. The results of the study explained that community participation in sports in terms of sports facilities and infrastructure in Hasanuddin Field, Makassar City has a high category with a total of 38 or 63.3%. Community participation in terms of needs variables is in the high category as much as 41 or 68.3%. Judging from the benefit variable is in the high category as much as 36 or as much as 60.0%, the attitude variable is in the high category with a total of 36 or 60.0%.
