Research on shyness began to be widely performed, for it is deemed necessary to conduct a study of psychometric property of shyness scale, this scales made by researchers. This scale consists of four aspects, namely: cognitive, physiological, affective, and behavioral. Each aspect contains six items. This study aims to obtain a description of the aitem-total correlation, reliability, validity, and norms of shyness scale. The research respondents consisted of 690 college students. This study shows that the aitem-total correlatin range from 0.345 to 0.541. This study also shows that the shyness scale is reliable with Alpha Cronbach coefficient of 0.858. This study also shows that the shyness measuring instrument is valid in terms of concurrent validity, unidimensionality, and that the choice of answers given can be understood and can be distinguished by the subject of research. The study norms obtained from this study can be used with respect to the characteristics of the sample. Keywords: Shyness, scales, psychometric property
