Abstract

ABSTRACT This research examines the description of the admission of new elementary school students (PPDB) in the Maritengngae Village, Pinrang Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. To find out how the description of the acceptance of new elementary school students (PPDB) in the Maritengngae Village, Pinrang Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were the Principal and Committee of PPDB elementary school in Maritengngae Village, Pinrang Regency, namely UPT SD Negeri 100 Pinrang, UPT SD Negeri 109 Pinrang, and UPT SD Negeri 203 Pinrang. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the interviews at UPT SD Negeri 100 Pinrang, UPT SD Negeri 209 Pinrang, and UPT SD Negeri 203 Pinrang were first, the schedule for the PPDB primary school in Maritengngae Village followed the decision of the Pinrang Regent. Second, the PPDB requirement for elementary school in Maritengngae Village, Pinrang Regency is age, where the age of prospective elementary school students is 7 to 12 years or at least 6 years old on July 1 of the current year. Third, the zoning system has been implemented by elementary schools in the Maritengngae Village, Pinrang Regency based on the decision of the Pinrang Regent. Fourth, the primary school PPDB in Maritengngae Village, Pinrang Regency, carried out offline during the Covid-19 pandemic. Of the three elementary schools in the Maritengngae Village, Pinrang Regency, all of them were accepted by zoning.
