Abstract
This article describes multimedia learning development using Articulate Storyline 3. This multimedia learning development is based on class VII of SMP Negeri 46 Makassar students' needs in Social Sciences subjects where during the learning process, teachers do not use any learning media except textbook. Students need learning media which capable of delivering varied and innovative social studies subject matter. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of validity and practicality of multimedia learning in social studies subject matter of class VII at SMP Negeri 46 Makassar by considering multimedia learning necessity. The research method used in this research is R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model through the steps of analysis, design, and development. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 46 Makassar for the 2020/2021 academic year. The subjects of this study were one teacher and 32 students. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and documents. The results of this study indicate that multimedia learning Articulate Storyline 3 developed by the researcher shows good results or is in a good category based on students' and teachers' of Social Science subject matter of Class VII at SMP Negeri 46 Makassar.
