Abstract

AP Pettarani Makassar, 90222 Abstract Honorary employee to perform tasks generally experience various problems in the working environment which may affect job satisfaction related to subjective well-being. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of job satisfaction and subjective well-being. Subjects numbered (N = 36) who is the honorary employee Department of Spatial Planning and Housing of South Sulawesi province. This study uses quantitative methods. Data were obtained using a scale, the scale of job satisfaction and subjective well-being scale, analyzed using Spearman correlation analysis. The results showed that there is a relationship between job satisfaction and subjective well-being. This study illustrates that the higher job satisfaction experienced by the higher levels of subjective well-being Employees honorarium. The correlation between the variables of job satisfaction and subjective well-being is of 0.631 indicates that the correlation between job satisfaction and subjective well-being relatively strong. The significant value of 0.000, the rule used is if the significance <0.005 then the hypothesis is accepted. This research is helpful to be able to maintain and honorary employee improve job satisfaction and subjective well-being so that they can show higher performance.
