Abstract

his study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of Google Classroom on students' interest in learning, especially in the subject of Construction Cost Estimation. In addition, to find out the application of the Google Classroom application and describe student learning interests in the subject of Construction Cost Estimation. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. This research was conducted at SMKN 2 Maros for the academic year 2020/2021 with the research subjects being class XI DPIB students with a sampling of 30 students. Data analysis in this study used simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the implementation of the Google Classroom application is good, but the learning interest of class XI students in the subject of construction cost estimation is in the low category. From the data analysis, the equation Y=13,722+0.652X+e, the t-count value is 8.818 where the value is greater than t-table 2.048, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an influence between the application of the Google Classroom application on students' learning interest with an R2 value. by 73.5%.
