Abstract

Abstract This research aims to tell the life journey of a character from childhood to death, becoming an educator from the first time he became an honorary until he became a school principal, becoming an mufti in Bantaeng from 1948-2018. This research is a historical research using several stages of work, namely heuristics (data collection) external criticism and internal criticism, interpretation and presentation as well as historiography (writing) which is a disclosure of a historical story in writing. The results of this study indicate that K.H Muhammad was born in 1948 and died in 2018. The journey of K.H Muhammad Arbia Karib in the world of education began from being a temporary employee to becoming a school principal. The movement in the Islamic da'wah began by joining Muhammadiyah, BAZNAS and the Indonesian Mufti Council of Bantaeng Regency.
