INTERAKSI SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT BERDASARKAN GAYA BELAJAR VAK DAN KAITANNYA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA MTs. NEGERI BALANG-BALANG KABUPATEN GOWA (STUDENTS’ INTERACTION IN COOPERATIVE LEARNING OF NHT TYPE BASED ON VAK LEARNING STYLE AND ITS RELATION WITH MATHEMATICSLEARNING RESULT OF THE STUDENTS AT MTs. NEGERI BALANG-BALANG KABUPATEN GOWA) Andi Karlina Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Negeri Makassar e-mail: karlinamtmtk@ymail.com ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk: (1) mengungkapkan pola umum interaksi siswa bergaya belajar visual, auditorial, kinestetik dalam pembelajaran matematika model kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT); (2) mendeskripsikan kaitan interaksi siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah pembelajaran matematika model kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT).Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-1 MTs. Negeri Balang-balang Kabupaten Gowa pada semester genap, Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016, sebanyak 2 kelompok yang masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari dua siswa auditori, dua siswa visual, dan dua siswa kinestetik. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes modalitas untuk menentukan gaya belajar siswa, Lembar Observasi Aktivitas Siswa berkaitan dengan Interaksi Personal (LOAS-BIP) untuk mengetahui interaksi siswa selama mengerjakan tugas, tes hasil belajar, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pola interaksi siswa selama mengerjakan tugas dalam kelompok kooperatifnya cenderung diawali dengan diskusi kemudian negosiasi dan diakhiri dengan kesepakatan, (2) pola interaksiantar siswa bergaya belajar Auditori, yaitu berdiskusi atau bernegosiasi, meminta bantuan, memberi bantuan disertai penjelasan, dan memberi bantuan tanpa penjelasan, (3) pola interaksi antar siswa bergaya belajar Visual, yaitu memberi bantuan tanpa penjelasan, dan berdiskusi atau bernegosiasi, 4) pola interaksi antar siswa bergaya belajar Kinestetik, yaitu berdiskusi atau bernegosiasi, meminta bantuan, memberi bantuan disertai penjelasan, dan memberi bantuan tanpa penjelasan,(5) pola interaksi antar siswa bergaya belajar Auditori-Visual, yaitu berdiskusi atau bernegosiasi, meminta bantuan, memberi bantuan disertai penjelasan, dan memberi bantuan tanpa penjelasan, (6) pola interaksi antar siswa bergaya belajar Visual-Kinestetik, yaitu berdiskusi atau bernegosiasi, meminta bantuan, memberi bantuan disertai penjelasan, dan memberi bantuan tanpa penjelasan, (7) pola interaksi antar siswa bergaya belajar Kinestetik-Auditori, yaitu berdiskusi atau bernegosiasi, memberi bantuan disertai penjelasan, meminta bantuan, dan memberi bantuan tanpa penjelasan, (8) interaksi siswa dalam hal memberi bantuan dengan penjelasan ataupun tanpa penjelasan dominan dilakukan oleh siswa A-T, (3) interaksi siswa dalam hal meminta bantuan dominan dilakukan oleh siswa V-R, (4) interaksi siswa dalam hal berdiskusi atau bernegosiasi dominan dilakukan oleh siswa A-T dan K-T, (5) Terdapat korelasi positif antara interaksi siswa dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas VII-1 MTs.Negeri Balang-balang Kabupaten Gowa, hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai r hitung > r tabel atau 0,806 > 0,576, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.” ABSTRACT ANDI KARLINA. 2016. Student’s Interaction in Cooperative Learning of NHT Type based on VAK Learning Style and Its Relation with Mahematics Learning Result of the Students at MTs Negeri Balang-balang in Gowa District (supervised by Suradi Tahmir and Alimuddin). The Research is descriptive aims to: (1) reveal the general interaction pattern of the students who have visual, auditory, and kinesthetics in mathematics learning by using cooperative learning model of Number Heads Together (NHT) type; (2) describe the relation of the students’ interaction toward the students mathematics learning result after learning mathematics by using cooperative learning model of NHT type. The subjects of the research were the students of class VII-1 at MTs Negeri Balang-balang in Gowa District in second semester of academic year 2015/2016 with two group which had two auditory students, two visual students, and two kinesthetic students in each group. The data was collected by using modality test to determine the students’ learning style, Students’ Avctivity Observation Sheet on Personal Interaction (LOAS-BIP) to discover the students’ interaction while doing task, learning result test, and interview guidance. The results of the research indicate that: (1) students’ interaction pattern while doing task in cooperative group tend to start with discussion, then negotiation, and ended with agreement, (2) interaction patterns between the students who have Auditory learning style are discussion or negotiation, asking for help, givig help with ekplanation, and giving help without explanation, (3) interaction patterns between the students who have Visual learning style are giving help without explanation, and discussion or negotiation, (4) Interaction patterns between the students who have Kinesthetics learning style are discussion or negotiation, asking for help, giving help with explanation, and giving help without explanation, (5) interaction patterns between the students who have Auditory-Visual Learning style are discussion or negotiation, asking for help, giving help with explanation, (6) interaction patterns between the students who have Visual-Kinesthetics learning style are discussion or negotiation, asking for help, giving help with explanation and giving help without explanation, (7) interaction patterns between the students who have Kinesthetics-Auditory are discussion or negotiation, giving help with explanation, asking for help, and giving help without explanation, (8) students’ interaction in giving help with or without explanation is done dominantly by A-T students, (9) students’ interaction in giving help is done dominantly by V-R students, (10) students’ interaction in discussion or negotiation is done dominantly by A-T and K-T students, (5) there are positive correlations between students interaction and mathematics learning result of the students of class VII-1 at MTs Negeri Balang-balang in Gowa District, shown by the score r count >r table or 0.806 > 0.555, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
