Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to obtain data related the effectiveness of the communicative approach in increasing students' German speaking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test formula. The results of data analysis showed t-count 7.45> t-table 2.002 at the level of α 0.05. The results showed that the communicative approach was effective in increasing students' speaking skills.
