Abstract

In general, the selection of paths used to be able to go to college there are three lines, namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Independent. Many enthusiasts of graduate SMA/SMK/MA what want to get into courses of majors PTN, but there are still too few majors or courses in Universities enthusiasts what, for various reasons. Some of these reasons is the lack of popularity of the course, many enthusiasts to study program (SP) paforit, and less about him enthusiasts SP would be selected. All of this could be over through direct or indirect promotion. Therefore, researchers wanted to map the condition of interest in the study of mathematics program through SNMPTN 2015. Hopefully with the maps and data results from this study it would be easier for the leadership of the study program, the head of department, head of faculty, or university leadership to devise ways, techniques, methods, and promote the study of mathematics in the future. There is a science that allows to study this map, which is spatial. To measure the level of spatial relationship between regions is used LISA (Local Indicator of Spatial Association). So comes the powerful idea to examine and assess a study titled LISA in analyzing the spread of interest in study program of Mathematics. The result showed that there were 500 applicants for the Study Program of Mathematics and 461 enthusiasts from South Sulawesi.
