Abstract

Strengthening the village economy through funds made by the government to improve the welfare of the village community. Priority utilization of village funds can be done by establishing and developing Village-Owned Enterprises (Bumdes). Based on the activity plan, the output target produced after the activity is to increase the understanding of the village community and village officials in Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency, in relation to the BUMDes, it is also expected that each village has and can run and develop the Village Owned Enterprises.After being given training shows that participants have understood the importance of BUMDes, the types of businesses that can be managed by the village, problems that are often encountered and the solution, to how to manage BUMDes.Based on the results of the dedication, the advice given is that it needs to be followed up, that is to start establishing or developing BUMDes. Therefore, synergy is needed from village officials, villagefacilitators, regional officials or NGO activists to jointly manage BUMDes. Keywords: BUMDes, village communities
