Abstract

The most effective and faster direction for empowering rural communities to achieve goals through the preparation of activities. The purpose of this community service is to increas the knowledge and skills of the village community in preparing activity plans, in relation to the village fund program in Arasoe Village of Bone Regency.Activities in this workshop covers lectures, question and answer session, training and practice, discussion, and mentoring. This workshop involving members of community groups, youth organizations and village officials. The results showed that the attendance during the workshop reached 85%, participants understand of the importance of empowering rural communities through making plans for each activity and ableto make an action plan that could be realized. Most of themstill think that physical development is more important than empowerment. Therefore, physical development is choose in formulating activity plans. Community interest in making plans for activities to develop the village means a lot to the implementation of the village fund program. Keywords: desa plan activities, empowerment, villagers
