ABSTRAK Irwan Zaenal, 2015. Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) dalam Pembelajaran Matematika Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja. Skripsi pada fakultas matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan alam universitas negeri makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran missouri mathematics project dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja. Unit eksperimen dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 7 SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja Tahun Ajaran 2013/ 2014. Unit eksperimen diambil secara langsung 1 kelas dalam hal ini dipilih kelas X IPA 7 dari 9 kelas dengan jumlah responden sebanyak orang siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga instrumen, yaitu tes kemampuan matematika siswa, kuesioner motivasi belajar siswa, dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan bantuan program pengolahan data statistik SPSS 20.0. Indikator efektivitas dalam penelitian ini ditinjau dari 3 aspek, yaitu kemampuan matematika siswa, motivasi belajar siswa, dan aktivitas siswa. Hasil analisis statistika menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan matematika siswa kelas X IPA 7 SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja dikategorikan sedang dengan skor rata-rata 81,66 dengan standar deviasi 8,628 dari skor ideal 100. Motivasi belajar siswa kelas X IPA 7 SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja dikategorikan tinggi dengan mean (rata-rata) sebesar 145,34 dari skor ideal maksimum 160. Sedangkan aktivitas siswa kelas X IPA 7 SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja dikategorikan aktif dengan presentase 88,79%. Hasil analisis inferensial terhadap skor kemampuan matematika siswa kelas X IPA 7 SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata kemampuan matematika siswa sebelum diberi perlakuan dengan rata-rata kemampuan matematika siswa setelah diberi perlakuan. Hal tersebut dilihat dari Tabel Paired Samples Statistics menunjukkan nilai awal (pretest) memiliki nilai rata-rata yaitu 30,00 dan nilai rata-rata untuk nilai akhir (posttest) adalah 79,97. Dari output Tabel Paired Samples Test diperoleh sig (2-tailed) = 0,000. Nilai -value lebih kecil dari (0,05). Untuk motivasi belajar hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebelum diberi perlakuan dengan rata-rata motivasi belajar setelah diberi perlakuan. Hal tersebut dilihat dari Tabel Paired Samples Statistics menunjukkan skor awal memiliki nilai rata-rata yaitu 122,37 dan nilai rata-rata untuk skor akhir adalah 145,34. Dari output Tabel Paired Samples Test diperoleh sig (2-tailed) = 0,000. Nilai -value lebih kecil dari (0,05). Dari hasil analisis di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran missouri mathematics project efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja. Thesis Mathematics and Science Faculty, State University of Makassa This research is experimental research that aims to find out the effectiveness of missouri mathematics project learning model in mathematical learning on grade X Students of SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja. Experimental units in this study are students on grade X IPA 7 of SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja the school year 2013/2014. Experimental units are taken directly to 1 class in this chosen on grade X IPA 7 from total nine class. There are have 38 students. Data retrieval is performed using three instruments, which tests students mathematical ability, student learning motivation, and student’s activity. The data obtained were processed by using SPSS 20 for windows. An indicator of effectiveness in the research reviewed from three aspects, namely; students mathematical ability, student learning motivation, and student’s activity. Statistical analysis of the results shows that the students mathematical ability on grade X IPA 7 of SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja are categorized with an average score is 81,66 with the standard deviation is 8,628 from the ideal is 100. Students Learning motivation on class X IPA 7 of SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja categorized high with mean (average) is 145,34 of the ideal maximum score is160. Whereas the Student’s activityof students on grade X IPA 7 of SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja categorized active with a percentage is 88,79%. Results of analysis inferential mathematical proficiency on grade X IPA 7 of SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja indicates that there are significant differences between the average students mathematical ability before being given preferential treatment by the average students mathematical ability after being given the treatment. It is seen from the table of Paired Samples Statistics shows the initial values (pretest) has an average value is 30.00 and average value to final value (posttest) is 79.97. From the output Table Paired Samples Test retrieved the sig (2-tailed) = 0.000. The value of the p-value is smaller than α (0.05). From the results of the above analysis, it can be concluded that the missouri mathematics project learning model effective on grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Lappariaja.
