Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is quasy experimental and the type research is a pretest-posttest control group design, that aims to determine the learning outcomes of students. The sample of this research is selected by random sampling and The class chosen as the research sample is X MIA 1 as the experimental class and X MIA 4 as the control class. The technique of collecting data through giving multiple choice tests before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning to measure learning outcomes after learning (posttest). The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with t test. The results obtained show that the (1) The average value of student learning outcomes learned by the guided inquiry model was 42,42% in the excellent category. 54,55% were in the good category. 3,035% are in the sufficient category. (2) The guided inquiry model influences the learning outcomes of students on the material of Plantae of class X MIA SMA Negeri 3 Gowa. Keywords: guided inquiry, learning outcome
