Abstract

Absrak — Learning Media development of Android based Augmented Reality app for DNA and RNA learning. Thesis, Academic Program of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education, Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Makassar. Supervisor: Zulhajji and Hj. Dyah Darma Andayani. This Research aims to (a) generate learning media for Android-based augmented reality apps for Learning DNA and RNA (b) know the results of learning media testing of Android-based augmented reality apps for DNA and RNA learning based on ISO/IEC 25010 Testing Standards. The research uses research methods Research and Development (R&D) with prototyping development models, through the need of collecting stages, prototyping, coding the system, testing the system, evaluation, and system use. The subject of the study was a grade XII student MIA SMAN 4 Wajo. Software testing focuses on the aspects of functionality suitability, maintainability, portability, and usability. This research generates (a) Android-based learning media that is mobile, interactive and easy to use so it can be used by students to learn anytime and anywhere (b) test results with "very decent" criteria on the aspect of functionality suitability, fulfilling the testing aspects of maintainability, "excellent" criteria on the portability aspect, and the "excellent" criterion on usability testing. Keywords : augmented reality, Android, DNA and RNA, ISO/IEC 25010
