Abstract

Abstract his study aims to find out: a) the influence of smartphone use on student learning achievements and how much b) the influence of smartphone use on the learning achievements of students of electrical engineering education program of the Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University. This research is quantitative research type correlational research. Research data obtained by questionnaire techniques and documentation. The results showed that: a) there is an influence on the study achievements of students of Electrical Engineering Study Program of the Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University, and b) the use of smartphones positively affects the learning achievements of students of Electrical Engineering Education Study Program of the Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University by 2.2% while 98.8% is another factor that affects Y variables that are not studied by researchers.
