Abstract
Abstract Pesantren can become very productive institute in education and economic activities. From research early known that almost all pesantren has effort service of boga, but their management and product impress a drop of. This research focus at knowledge of pesantren salaf concerning: gender, values of entrepreneurial, work ethos, their effort service of boga, and entrepreneurial education items needed by pesantren. Qualitative approach had been used in this research to dig data comprehensively and exhaustively. Result: Pesantren has very strategic role in construction of personality values and character and also as spillway peacemaker of education for poor society, but in that institute is still happened lameness of gender. Knowledge of community of pesantren concerning values of entrepreneurial is enough, but they have never learnt that subject. Their work ethos knowledge is good. Their effort profile of service of boga is still modestly and traditionally. Communities of Pesantren salaf need to be educated by entrepreneurial activity.
