Reyfal Ade Rifky S, 2021. The Influence of Principal’s Supervision Competencies and Teachers’ Motivation on Teachers’ Performance at MTs Muhammadiyah Makassar City. Thesis. Educational Administration Study Program, Specialization in Educational Management, Postgraduate Program. State University of Makassar (supervised by Hamsu Abdul Gani and Ratmawati T). This study is a survey research which aims to discover whether there is an influence of: 1) the competence of principal supervision on teachers’ performance; 2) teachers’ motivation on teachers’ performance; and 3) the competence of principal’s supervision and teachers’ motivation simultaneously on teachers’ performance at MTs Muhammadiyah Makassar city. The independent variable in this study is the competence of principal supervision and teachers’ motivation, while the dependent variable is teachers’ performance. The population of the study were all 102 teachers at MTs Muhammadiyah Makassar city, while the sample was taken proportionally to a random sample from the existing population, namely 61 people. The research data were obtained by providing the principal supervision questionnaire, teachers’ motivation questionnaire, and teachers’ performance questionnaire to the sample. The data analysis technique employed multiple regression analysis with partial hypothesis testing (t test) and simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test). Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, it is obtained; 1) the significance value (Sig.) = 0.001 is smaller than the probability = 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the principal's supervision competence on teachers’ performance; 2) the significance value (Sig.) = 0.000 is smaller than the probability = 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an influence of teachers’ motivation on teachers’ performance; and 3) the significance value (Sig.) = 0.000 is smaller than the probability = 0.05.
