Abstract

, St.Fatmah Hiolah, dan Adnan Abdul Rahman, 2020. This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of the Mollusca and Echinodermata modules developed by the researcher. This module was developed as one of the independent teaching materials that can be used by both educators and students on Mollusca and Echinodermata material. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R & D) using the ADDIE model as an instructional design model that uses 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The module assessment is carried out by two expert validators. Based on the results of the assessment of the expert validators, it shows that the product developed is feasible with the validity value of the module in terms of material, namely 4.45 and in terms of media, namely 4.313, each validity value meets the standard criteria for validity 4 ≤ Va <5 with the valid category. The practicality of the module is obtained from the teacher's response to the developed module with a value of 4.45 and percentage amounting to 89.16%. While the response of students with a value of 4.32 and percentage amounting to 84.6%. Based on the criteria of validity and practicality obtained from the development of the Mollusca and Echinodermata Modules, the module is declared fit for use.
