Abstract
Abstract : In Indonesia, The need of house ownership increased throughout period given, because the population of citizens growth increased significantly over given period, Housing loans is considered as an alternative financing for the society to overcome their needs for the house. Therefore an analysis is needed to the determinant factors which can affect for demanding of housing loans, in order to fulfill the needs of the society that will have an impact on their well-being. This quantitative study uses multiple regression analysis with variables, BI Rate, total population, and income per capita, and there is a time series for 16 years. Which is the results of all this study, variables tested have a significant effect, but the total population of citizens is negatively influences of demand housing loans, and the other hand, the BI rate and per capita income have a positive effect for demand housing loans. As for the adjusted R2 value of 98.8% the independent variable contributed to the dependent variable and 1.2% was influenced by other factors not taken in this study.
