Abstract

Abstract The aim of the research to improve written skill in English learning through audio visual media, this research conducted in Elementary Education program, this study use action research approach there consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Research conducted in two cycles. The data used in the comparative descriptive analysis of observation compare research results and first cycle and the second cycle- The results showed that the student activities and student skills in writing. Results of overall skills of teachers and students have been a good activity. The student's skills in writing and the results of the first cycle of tests to get an average in the middle categories with classical completeness and second cycle to get an average of very good to high score. The conclusions in this study that learning English in writing skills tbrough Media Audio Visual (VCD) it could improve the skills of teachers, student activities and student writing skills.
