Abstract

Abstract: The study aims are 1) identifying and explaining the supporting and inhibiting factors of classical service at SMAN 16 Makassar, 2) identifying the existence of indicators of criteria conformity in context component and input in arranging classical service program. The research subjects were 2 teachers of counseling guidance. Data collection employed observation guidance, interview, and documentation guidance. The indicators in context component are need assessment, program objective, and design of classical service program. Indicators in input component are ratio of BK, qualification of BK teachers. Facility infrastructure, material, method,media,and finance. Data analysis employed descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the study reveal on the aspect of context components, all indicators support classical service program in need assessment indicators and classical service objective as well as design of classical service program. On the Aspect input component, the most supporting indicator is facility and infrastructure indicators and finance in service program, qualification of BK teachers, material, methods,and media have supported as well, whereas, the ratio of BK teachers indicator at SMAN 16 Makassar indicates that there only 2 active BK teachers and they did not conduct routine classical service in each class. The BK teachers only provided classical service to grade X while other classes conducted only in empty class schedule. These are what hinders the implementation of classical service, the counseling tatio with BK teachers is 2 BK teachers : 1018 students.
