Abstract

The aim of the research to improve written skill in English trough audio visual media, this research conducted in Elementary Education program, this study is used action research approach, there consist of four stages: Planning, action, observation, and reflection. Research conducted in two cycles. The data used comparative descriptive analysis of observation compare research result and first cycle and the second cycle. The result showed that the students activities and skills in writing. Result of overall skills of teachers and the students have been a good activity. An average in the middle categories with classical completeness and second cycle to get an average of very good to high score. The conclusions in this study that learning English in writing skills through Media Audio Visual (VCD) it could improve the skill of teachers, student activities and student writing skills.
