Abstract

Abstract The purpose of the study was to determine the children's kinesthetic ability through dance creations in group B TK Tunas Harapan Batang, Bontotiro District, Bulukumba Regency. This research is based on the problems obtained where there are still many children who feel shy and lack of confidence to move or dance to the rhythm of the songs being taught and are less interested in the songs being listened to. Education more often teaches children to sing and play music so that children are less interested in the movements and songs being taught. This type of research used in this research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were group B students, the number of students was 15 students. Data analysis used was a qualitative descriptive technique to improve the kinesthetic kinship of children through a qualitative dance of creation. The calculation results are consulted in the category and percentage classification tables. The conclusion of this study is that creative dance activities can improve the kinesthetic abilities of group B children in Tunas Harapan Batang Kindergarten, Bontotiro District, Bulukumba Regency.
