Abstract

Abstract:This research is intended to examine the implementation of process standards in improving the quality of public elementary schools 238 Mallaulu East Luwu Regency which includes: Implementation of standard processes that include (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) assessment and (4) supervision, supporting factors and obstacle factor. This type of research is using qualitative research and the informants are the principal, curriculum affairs staff, and teachers. Data collected by using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was performed by using descriptive qualitative analysis, which was data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed: 1) The implementation of the standard process in improving the quality of Mallaulu public elementary schools 238 East Luwu Regency which included: (a) Learning planning, (b) Learning implementation, (c) Learning assessment, and (d) supervision of learning. (2) Supporting factors for the implementation of process standards in improving the quality of public elementary schools 238 Mallaulu East Luwu Regency, namely: (a) Amount of sufficient teacher staff, (b) Adequate infrastructure, (c) Geographical conditions of schools located near settlements residents, (d) Good cooperation among educators and education staff is formed, (e) There is support from the committee and parents, (f) There is support from the relevant agencies, and (g) school principal support. 3) Factors that hamper the implementation of standard processes in improving the quality of public elementary schools 238 Mallaulu, East Luwu Regency, namely: (a) There is still not a maximum of educators in the use of IT, (b) Dense visits from various agencies to schools that hinder the teaching and learning process, and (c) Many school activities that require attention and attention.
