Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop student’s worksheet based on science literacy in the biological material of the even semester for grade X in SMA that categorized valid, practical, and effective. Data of the study consisted of : (1) the validity data was conducted through validator assessment using a student’s worksheet validation questionnaire, (2) practicality data was conducted through observation of the implementation of student’s worksheet by the observer using the observation sheet instrument and the response data of teachers and students using the questionnaire responses of teachers and students, (3) data of effectiveness was conducted through student learning outcomes using the instrument of learning outcomes based on scientific literacy. This research was conducted in December 2019-March 2020 in SMA Negeri 1 Parepare. The results of data analysis were obtained: (1) student’s worksheet based on science literacy is valid with a validity value of 4.5, (2) student’s worksheet based on science literacy is practical with the implementation degree 4,9 well implemented and the percentage of teachers and student’s respons on student’s worksheet based on science literacy is very positive by 97% and 85,1%, (3) student’s worksheet based on science literacy is effective with the completeness level of learning outcomes 94,29% and and increasing the pretest to posttest value in the medium category, with gain score 0.66. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the student’s worksheet based on science literacy in the biological material of the even semester for grade X in SMA are valid, practical and effective.
