Abstract

Abstract: Developing entrepreneurial spirit of Vocational high school (VHS) students through extracurricular entrepreneurship learning model, aims to produce quality human resources who have the entrepreneurial spirit. Formation entrepreneurial spirit of VHS students, marked by the growing attitude of self-reliance, increased entrepreneurial spirit and motivation, the development creative ideas of students', and changing the mindset to create jobs of students. This can be achieved through extracurricular entrepreneurship learning model. Through extracurricular entrepreneurship learning in vocational, self-potential students can be developed effectively. Extracurricular entrepreneurship learning model the using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. Contextual approach is the concept of learning that help teachers to link between what is taught with real-world situations students and encourage students to make connections between the knowledge possessed by its application in their daily lives. With that concept, the meaningful learning more for students. The learning process takes place naturally in the form of student work and experience, not a transfer of knowledge from teachers to students. Competence of indicators developed is the attitude discipline, honesty, active, creative, innovative, and productivity. The results of the analysis of the model effectiveness show that the extracurricular entrepreneurial learning model satisfies the effectiveness criteria. The students’ and teachers’ responses are positive and objectively they state that the extracurricular entrepreneurship learning model is effective to develop the entrepreneurial spirit of VHS students. The extracurricular entrepreneurship learning model can function well to develop the students’ entrepreneurial spirit.
