Abstract

ABSTRAK MUTMAINNA. 2013. Pengaruh Sikap Keguruan dan Motivasi Berprestasi terhadap Kepuasan Kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. (dibimbing oleh Arifin Ahmad dan Chalid Imran Musa) Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh (1) sikap keguruan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. (2) motivasi berprestasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. (3) sikap keguruan dan motivasi berprestasi secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Teknik pengambilan anggota sampel adalah dengan teknik cluster proportional random sampling, dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui instrumen kuesioner penelitian dan wawancara. Data dari hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sikap keguruan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sikap keguruan dan motivasi berprestasi secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. ABSTRACT MUTMAINNA. 2013. The Influence of Teacher Attitude and Achievement Motivation toward Teachers’ Working Satisfaction at Public Junior High School in Polewali Mandar District. (supervised by Arifin Ahmad and Chalid Imran Musa). The study aims at examining the influence of (1) teacher attitude toward teachers’ working satisfaction at public junior high schools (SMPN) in Polewali Mandar district, (2) achievement motivation toward teachers’ working satisfaction at SMPN in Polewali Mandar district, and (3) teacher attitude and achievement motivation collaboratively toward teachers’ working satisfaction at SMPN in Polewali Mandar district. The study used quantitative approach with survey. The populations of the study were all teachers at SMPN in Polewali Mandar district. Samples were selected by employing cluster proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaire and interview. Data were analyzed by employing descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using multiple regression analysis. The result of the study reveal that (1) there is positive and significant influence of teacher attitude toward teachers’ working satisfaction at SMPN in Polewali Mandar district, (2) there is positive and significant influence of achievement motivation toward teachers’ working satisfaction at SMPN in Polewali Mandar district, and (3) there is positive and significant influence of teacher attitude and achievement motivation collaboratively toward teachers’ working satisfaction at SMPN in Polewali Mandar district.
