ABSTRAK ABDUL ZAHIR. Analisis Kualitas Layanan Akademik Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar. (Dibimbing oleh Komisi Penasihat Ruslan dan Triyanto Pristiwaluyo) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan akademik di FT UNM dan perbedaan kualitas layanan akademik antar jurusan, serta dimensi-dimensi yang harus diprioritaskan dalam upaya meningkatkan layanan akademik di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan model penelitian survey yang dilaksanakan di enam jurusan yang ada di FT UNM. Penarikan sampel dilakukan secara bertahap, menggunakan cara purposive, cluster, proporsional, dan random. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang sudah dinyatakan valid secara isi oleh validator. Data yang diperoleh dari survey diolah dengan dengan menggunakan analisis kuadran, analisis model SERVQUAL, statistik deskriptif, inferensial dengan statistik Analisis Varians (ANAVA). Kualitas layanan akademik di FT UNM berkategori baik. Kualitas layanan pembelajaran dan layanan pembimbingan sebagai derivasi layanan akademik pun menampakkan kualitas yang baik pula. Ada perbedaan kualitas layanan akademik diantara semua jurusan yang ada di FT UNM. Perbedaan kualitas pun ada di setiap dimensi layanan dan hal ini memberikan indikasi bahwa setiap jurusan memberikan kualitas layanan akademik yang berbeda. Layanan pembelajaran dan pembimbingan di FT UNM sudah baik. Namun dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas layanan akademik, FT UNM perlu memperhatikan kesediaan dosen membantu mendapatkan materi kuliah dan perasaan nyaman saat dosen memberikan layanan pembimbingan akademik diperbaiki. (Supervised by Advisory Commission Ruslan and Triyanto Pristiwaluyo) The study aims at examining to determine the quality of academic services at Faculty of Engineering in UNM and differences in the quality between department of academic services, as well as the dimensions that should be prioritized in order to improve academic services at the Faculty of Engineering, in UNM. This research is a quantitative study using the model of survey research conducted in six departments in the FT UNM . Sampling is done in stages , using a purposive , cluster , proportional , and random . Collecting data using a questionnaire that has been declared valid by the validator content . Data obtained from the survey is processed by using a quadrant analysis , SERVQUAL model analysis , descriptive statistics , inferential statistical Analysis of Variance ( ANOVA ) The quality of academic services at FT UNM categorized either . Quality of learning service and guiding services as a matter of academic services derivation showed good quality too . There is a difference in the quality of academic services among all departments in the FT UNM . There is any difference in quality in every dimension of the service and this gives an indication that any academic majors provide different quality of service . Learning and guiding Service in the FT UNM seemed so good. However, in order to improve the quality of academic services, the FT UNM needs to pay attention to the willingness of professors to help get the course material and a comfortable feeling when faculty provide academic guiding services improved. .
