Abstract

Abstract The process of Reading Approach seen in term of its implementation is not done simultaneously but gradually by pre-reading, while-reading and post-reading. Besides giving attention the principles of teaching reading, the steps can lead the teachers to teach reading skill based on student centered learning. Students will be given the widest opportunity to develop their knowledge, attitude, experiment and reading skill. Thereby the process of Reading Approach is one of alternatives which can be used to develop and improve the reading skill of students. Key words : Approach process, pre-reading, while-reading, post-reading
