Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to 1) describe the ability to make origami crafts for early childhood at the World Islamic Child World Kindergarten Makassar 2) To describe what origami forms can be made by early childhood TK World Islamic Children Makassar 3) To describe the inhibiting factors in making origami crafts early childhood at the Makassar Islamic Children's World Kindergarten. The benefits of this study can help stimulate the growth of creativity, motivation and imagination of students in learning and developing themselves. For Islamic Children World Kindergarten schools, this research is used as an important reference for the needs of teachers as input material that wants to apply origami in the classroom management needs and For researchers, this study will find the right origami learning model and can develop it. This type of research is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The population in this study were all early childhood at the Makassar Islamic Child World Kindergarten as many as 23 students and samples and samples in this study were 1) Play group totaling 8 people 2) TK A totaling 5 people 3) TK B totaling 10 person. Data collection techniques are carried out by interview and documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the students of the Makassar Islamic Child World Kindergarten are able to make origami studies. Indeed, not all students have the same interest and enthusiasm but most of them have been able to make origami neatly and accordingly. able to make origami crafts by not imitating the work of his friends and not asking for help from the teacher. The results of making origami studies at the Makassar Islamic Child World Kindergarten are categorized as "undeveloped" from 23 works of students, only 6 students in this category. It can be said that students at the Makassar Islamic Children's World Kindergarten are able to make origami studies. Keywords: Ability, origami, early childhood,
