Abstract

This research aimed: (1) to study the learning interest and learning habits partially on students’ learning outcomes of class X in the accounting skill program at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar. (2) to study the learning interest and learning habits simultaneously on students’ learning outcomes of class X in the accounting skill program at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar. (3) which independent variables had the dominant effect on students’ learning outcomes of class X in the accounting skill program at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar?. The variables in this research were learning intrest as a first independent variable (X1), learning habits as a second independent variable (X2) and the learning outcomes as a dependent variable (Y). The populations in this research were all of the students’ class X accounting skills program at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar consists of 105 students. The sampling technique used a proportionate stratified random sampling technique with the sample consists of 51 students’. The data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The data analyzed using descriptive persentage analysis, the instrument test, classic assumption test, and hypothesis test. The result of this research showed that the learning interest partially had significantly influenced students’ learning outcomes with the level of significant <0,05 and learning habits partially had significantly influenced students’ learning outcomes with the level of significant <0,05. The learning interest and learning habits simultaneously had significantly influenced students’ learning outcomes with the level of significant <0,05. Moreover, the coefficient of determnation (R2 ) by 0,506 (50,6%). This means that the influence of learning interest and learning habits on students’ learning outcomes by 50,6% while the rest 49,4% influenced by the other factors not researched. Then, the learning interest had dominant influenced students’ learning outcomes with the coefficient of determination by 0,349 or 34,9%.
