Abstract

ABSTRAK NUR WAHIDAH BAKRI. “Penerapan Model Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Dengan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIIa SMP Negeri 3 Tinambung”. (dibimbing oleh Usman Mulbar dan H. Djadir) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe STAD dengan pendekatan matematika realistik di kelas VIIA semester gasal Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Kooperative Tipe STAD dengan pendekatan matematika realistik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 3 Tinambung. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan mengunakan tes sedangkan aktivitas belajar siswa mengunakan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif yakni menjelaskan arah perubahan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD dengan pendekatan matematika realistik. Dari analisis data dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperative Tipe STAD dengan pendekatan matematika realistik, Pada siklus I rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar (70,00%), rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar (57,89%), serta diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 67 dan pada siklus II rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar (95,00%), rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar (86,87%), serta deperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 80, dari data tersebut terlihat bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar (25,00%), terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I ke siklus II sebesar (28,95%), serta peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar (23,81%). Pada siklus II ini telah tercapai indikator ketuntasan belajar yang ditetapkan, jika paling sedikit 70% dari jumlah siswa dalam kelas telah mencapai ketuntasan ≥ 70% tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperative Tipe STAD dengan pendekatan matematika realistik dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 3 Tinambung. Djadir) The study aims at improving the students’ learning result by applying cooperative learning model of STAD type by employing Realistic Mathematics in class VIIA of second semester of academic year 2015/2016. The study is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles by applying cooperative learning model of STAD type by employing Realistik Mathematics. The subject of the study is all students of class VIIA at SMPN 3 Tinambung. Data is collected by conducting the test; whereas, students’ learning activity is by using observation sheet. Data is analyzed by employing descriptive analysis that explaining change of direction of the improvement of students’ learning result in applying cooperative learning model of STAD type by employing Realistic Mathematics. The result of data analysis the application of cooperative learning model of STAD type by employing Realistic Mathematics, In cycle I, the average of learning implementation is (70,00%), the average of students’ learning activity is (57,89%), and the average of students’ learning result score is 67. In cycle II, the average of learning implementation is (95,00%), the average of students’ learning activity is (86,87%), and the average of students’ learning result score is 80, the aforementioned data shows that there improvement of learning implementation from cycle I to cycle II by (25,00%), there is improvement of students’ learning activity from cycle I to cycle II by (28,95%), and the improvement of students’ learning completeness from cycle I to cycle II by (23,81%). In cycle II, the determined learning completeness indicator has been achieved if at least 70% of the total of the students in class has achieved the completeness ≥ 70% of learning objective. The result of the study proves that the application of cooperative learning model of STAD type by employing Realistic Mathematics can improve learning activity and learning result in class VIIA student at SMPN 3 Tinambung.
