Abstract

ABSTRAK FIRDAUS. Pengaruh Latihan Kumite Terhadap Peningkatan VO2 Max Pada Atlet Karate Institute Karate-do Nasional Kabupaten Bantaeng. Effects Of Exercise Kumite Increased VO2 Max On Athletes Karate Karate-do Institute National Bantaeng. (Promoter Supervised by Heri Tahir And Kopromotor Nukrawai Nawir) Karateka who has good techniques or kihon can not be guaranteed to achieve better performance. So the physical ability is crucial performance karate athletes especially in kumite match. Similar conditions perceived by INKANAS Bantaeng karate athletes. In a preliminary study researchers looked at the decline in physical condition athletes INKANAS Karate kumite match characterized by fatigue in the final minutes of the game that also affected the direction of the blow, and consequently improper INKANAS Bantaeng Karate athletes optimal performance especially in the acquisition of in kumite match. Therefore it should be the coach / senpai or sensei should make a model of practice that places more emphasis on the issue of the physical condition of athletes in particular an increase in VO2 max value of its consumption. Based on this research question in this study is how much influence Kumite training on VO2 max Consumption INKANAS Kab Karate athletes Bantaeng? The purpose of this study was (i) to analyze the changes in VO2 max values on INKANAS Kab.Bantaeng karate athletes before and after practice kumite (ii) to analyze the differences in changes in VO2 max values on INKANAS karate athletes who did not have to undergo training and kumite (iii) Knowing presence or absence of changes in VO2 max values in athletes who did not receive training karate kumite. Of the 20 samples were divided into two groups, namely the study and control groups were tested for normality using the experimental after-Smirnov Kolomogorv obtained probability value = 0.012 pretest and posttest = 0.016 is less than 0.05, which means that in addition to the data are normally distributed, the sample studied was also have the same ability as evidenced unpaired t test and obtained the Sig (2 - Tailed) at pre-test 0.666> 0.05 so that the pre-test control and experimental groups just do not have significant differences as for the results of this study indicate that (i) no change in value VO2 Max after doing exercises in the experimental group shown through the paired t test is 0.000> 0.05. but in the control group there was no significant difference in the level of probability of 0.240> 0.05. (Ii) there is a difference in VO2 max value changes on INKANAS karate athletes who did not have to undergo training and kumite are from unpaired t test Sig (2 - Tailed) posttest both groups = 0.000 <0.05 (iii) There is a change in the value of consumption VO2 Max in athletes who do not exercise kumite but the change is not significant or insignificant. Key word : Kumite and VO2 Max
