Abstract

ABSTRACT Hasrawati, 2019. Development of Student Learning Worksheet (LKPD) based on discovery learning in SMAN 5 Jeneponto on digestive system material (supervised by Adnan dan Hartati). This study aims to produce discovery learning-based LKPD on the subject matter of the digestive system that is valid, practical and effective. The subjects of this study were 33 students in class XI MIA.3. This type of research is research and development which is oriented towards product development. The development model used is a 4-D model which consists of four stages namely, (1) define, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Dissemination, which is limited to development phase. Data collection tools used in the form of a questionnaire. Validity test is carried out by two expert validators. Practicality test by filling out questionnaire responses of students and teachers conducted by biology class XI teachers as many as 1 person and class XI.MIA.3 students as many as 33 people and effectiveness tests conducted by students by answering the test results of learning outcomes that have been given. Validator assessment for LKPD based on discovery learning which is assessed from the LKPD presentation aspect, which consists of aspects of the feasibility of the content and aspects of language, then an average of 4.1 in the valid category is obtained. The results of the validator assessment for the teacher's questionnaire responses and student questionnaire responses were assessed from 3 aspects namely the aspect of objectives, aspects of the objectives of the questionnaire component and aspects of language obtained an average of total validation results of 4.5 which are in the valid category, and for the test of learning outcomes obtained an average acquisition score of 4.2 which is in the valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the discovery learning-based LKPD on the subject matter of the digestive system that is developed is valid, practical and effective and is suitable for use. This can be seen from the results of the validation of the LKPD, the teacher's response, the students' responses and the test of learning outcomes towards the product being developed.
