Abstract

Abstract : This study aimed to determinate the effect of applying the discovery learning on the student’s and learning outcomes in iology class of SMA Negeri 11 control group Makassar. This was a quasi – experimental study involving two groups that one of them as experimental group and the other is the control group with design of research is pretest – posttest control group design. The groups chosen as the study sample are XI MIA 3 as the experimental group and XI MIA 5 as the control group with sampling random methode. Type of researh instrument that used by queshionnaire and learning outcomes test in multipl choice and description of coordination system material. The data has collected was analyzed by using description statistic and inferential statistic. Descriptive statistic that used to describe student interst and learning outcomesand inferential statistic that used to hypothesis test was analysis of coverience. It means that 1) applying the discovery learning model influence to student’s in the coordination system material. 2) and applying the discovery learning model influence to learning outcomes of student’s in the coordination system material.
