Abstract
ABSTRACT This research aimed to determine the effect of intellectual capital on stock prices of the manufacturing companies (pharmaceutical sub sector) that are listed on the IDX. The variables of this research are intellectual capital as independent variable (X) measured by VAIC TM method, and stock price as dependent variable (Y) measured by average closing price. The population of this research are all financial statement of manufacturing companies (pharmaceutical sub sector) that are listed on the IDX, and the sample are financial repot of 6 manufacturing companies (pharmaceutical sub sector) that are listed on the IDX for 5 years, 2013-2017 choosen by purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by documentation technique. The data analysis techniques used are: 1) simple linear regression analysis, 2) product moment correlation analysis, and 3) t-test. The results of this research suggest that intellectual capital has a significant effect on stcock price of the manufacturing companies (pharmaceutical sub sector) that are listed on the IDX.
