Abstract
Abstract This research aims to describe an interest to learn, a motivate to learn, and purpose to learn of foreign students at Alekawa Language and Culture Center. This research applied qualitative descriptive method. Subjects are 15 foreign students which are learning Indonesian Language in Alekawa Language and Culture Center and 3 teacher Indonesian Language for Foreign Speaker in Alekawa Language and Culture Center. The technically on data collection are a questionnaire and interview. The technique of data analysis using data analysis of Miles and Huberman that is, reduction, presentation, and verification of data. The result shows which are an interest and motivate to learn Indonesian language of foreign student Alekawa Language and Culture Center are good. On questionnaire of interest to learn, there are 5 indicators which are devided into 10 observed aspects. The results are shows an excelent outcome. On indicators of motivation to learn, there are 4 indicators which are devided into 7 observed aspescts. There 6 aspects that shows an excelent observerd and 1 aspects of attendance during the studies process show that is not too good. Mostly the foreign students are can not on time but they are feel guilty too. On the purpose of foreign student to learn Indonesian Language, there are 10 respondens says for business, 3 respondens says to stay at Indonesia and share their knowledge, 1 responsens says for a research, and 1 responden says just to communicated with society around.
