ABSTRACT MUH. ILHAMSYAH TRI, 2019. The Influence of ASSURE Model toward the Effectiveness of Students’ Accounting Learning in Class X of Accounting Expertise Program at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar. Thesis, Accounting Education Study Program Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Makassar. (Supervised by: Mukhammad Idrus, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA. and M. Ridwan Tikollah, S.Pd., M.SA). This research aimed at indicating the influence of ASSURE model toward the effectiveness of students’ accounting learning in class X of accounting expertise program at SMK Negeri 4 Makassar. The variables in this research were ASSURE model as independent variable and effectiveness of learning as dependent variable. The population was entire students in accounting class X, while the sample was the students in class X of Accounting 1 that consisted of 35 students, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Techniques of data collection used were observation and questionnaire. Techniques of data analysis used were validity analysis and statistical analysis of data by using SPSS 24.0 for windows program. The results of simple regression analysis are Y=1.298 + 0.802X, where it is constant with a value of 1.298 which means that if the value of ASSURE model is zero, then the effectiveness of learning remains at 1.298 while X regression coefficient of 0.802 has positive value, meaning that if ASSURE model has increased by 1 unit then effectiveness of students’ learning will increase by 0.802. Product moment analysis result shows a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.678 at interval 0.60-0.799 which has a significance influence level between ASSURE model toward effectiveness of students’ learning. The t-test in significant column indicates that the probability is 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: ASSURE Model, the Effectiveness of Learning
