Abstract
Abstract: The purpose of this study are (1) To know the description of the level of interest in entrepreneurship before and after the application of symbolic modeling techniques with biographies of successful figures in students of SMA Negeri 2 Pancarijang Kab. Sidrap, (2) To know whether the application of symbolic modeling technique with biography of successful figure to increase entrepreneurship interest in SMA Negeri 2 Pancarijang Kab. Sidrap., The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach using true-experimental design with non-equivalent-group design pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study are the students of class XI of 23 students who are identified as having low interest in entrepreneurship. Data collection techniques used are the scale of interest in entrepreneurship, observation and the results of this study suggests that (1) The description of the implementation of symbolic modeling techniques using the biography of successful figures executed well by following the implementation procedure as much as 6 meetings, students are active in the activity. This can be seen from the observation of research activities. (2) The level of student entrepreneurship interest in SMA Negeri 2 Pancarijang Kab. Sidrap before the application of symbolic modeling techniques using biographies of successful figures is generally in the low category. However, after the implementation showed an increase in entrepreneurship interest from low to high category, (3) Application of symbolic modeling technique using biography of success figure can increase entrepreneurship interest of class XI student at SMA Negeri 2 Pancarijang Kab. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat minat berwirausaha sebelum dan setelah penerapan teknik modeling simbolis dengan biografi tokoh sukses pada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Pancarijang Kab. Sidrap, (2) Untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan teknik modeling simbolis dengan biografi tokoh sukses terhadap peningkatan minat berwirausaha siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Pancarijang Kab. Sidrap., Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan true-eksperimen design dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent-group pretest¬-postest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 23 siswa yang teridentifikasi mengalami minat berwirausaha yang rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala minat berwirausaha, observasi dan hasil penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa (1) Gambaran pelaksanaan penerapan teknik modeling simbolis menggunakan biografi tokoh sukses terlaksana dengan baik dengan mengikuti prosedur pelaksanaan sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan, siswa aktif dalam kegiatan tersebut. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi kegiatan penelitian. (2) Tingkat minat berwirausaha siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Pancarijang Kab. Sidrap sebelum penerapan teknik modeling simbolis mengunakan biografi tokoh sukses pada umumnya berada pada kategori rendah. Akan tetapi sesudah penerapan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan minat berwirausaha dari rendah menjadi kategori tinggi, (3) Penerapan teknik modeling simbolis menggunakan biografi tokoh sukses dapat meningkatkan minat berwirausaha siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 2 Pancarijang Kab. Sidrap. Kata Kunci: Modeling simbolis, minat berwirausaha.
