Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas VII2 Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Palirang ditinjau dari: (1) Hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kombinasi Jigsaw dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT), (2) Aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kombinasi Jigsaw dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) (3) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kombinasi Jigsaw dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT). Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu tanpa kelas kontrol dengan desain one grup pretest and posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Palirang semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari 2 kelas paralel. Sampel penelitian ini semua siswa kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Palirang yang berjumlah rata-rata 25 orang di setiap kelas, yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data peneltian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi, dan angket. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) hasil belajar siswa (posttest) (2) aktivitas siswa, dan (3) respons siswa. Jika ketiga indikator menunjukkan hasil yang terpenuhi dan signifikan, maka pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kombinasi Jigsaw dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar matematika efektif. Hasil analisis statistika deskriptif rata-rata hasil belajar siswa (posttest) diperoleh 89,88 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100% dan rata-rata nilai gain diperoleh 0,71 yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan rata-rata aspek keseluruhan aktivitas siswa diperoleh 3,0 yang berada pada kategori aktif dan rata-rata respons siswa diperoleh 3,5 yang berada pada kategori positif. Hasil analisis statistika inferensial menggunakan uji-t data tunggal (one sample t-test) pada hasil belajar siswa (posstest), nilai gain, ketuntasan klasikal, dan respons siswa diperoleh nilai signifikan dalam hal ini berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga analisis statistika inferensial terhadap hasil belajar siswa (posstest), nilai gain, ketuntasan klasikal, dan respons siswa signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial yang terpenuhi maka pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kombinasi Jigsaw dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar matematika efektif. Kata kunci: Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Kombinasi Jigsaw dengan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) ABSTRACT The research aimed to discover the effectiveness of cooperative learning of the combination type of Jigsaw and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in Mathematics learning of class VII2 student at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Palirang based on: (1) the students’ Mathematics learning result after the implementation of cooperative learning of the combination type of Jigsaw and Numbered Heads Together (NHT), (2) the students’ activities in following cooperative learning of the combination type of Jigsaw and Numbered Heads Together (NHT), (3) the students’ responses toward cooperative learning of the combination type of Jigsaw and Numbered Heads Together (NHT). The research was quasi experiment without control class with one group pretest and posttest design. The populations of the research were the student of class VII at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Palirang of the first semester of academic year 2016/2017 consisted of 2 parallel classes. The samples of the research were all of the student of class VII at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Palirang with 25 students in each class chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The data of the research were obtained by using research instruments, namely learning result test observation sheet, and questionnaire. The success indicators of the research were (1) the students’ learning results (posttest), (2) the students’ activities, and (3) the students’ responses. If the three indicators has met the indicators and shows significant result, then cooperative learning of the combination type of Jigsaw and NHT toward Mathematics learning results is effective. The result of descriptive statistics analysis of the average of students’ learning results (posttest) obtains 89.88 with classical completeness 100% and the average of gain score obtains 0.71 which is in high category. While the average of students’ overall activity aspects obtains 3.0 which is in active category and the average of the students’ response obtains 3.5 which is in positive category. The result of inferensial statistics analysis by using t-test single data (one sample t-test) to students’ learning results (posttest), gain score, classical completeness, and students’ responses obtain significant score p ≤ a meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so inferential statistics analysis on the students’ learning results, gain score, classical completeness, and students’ response is significant. Based on the results of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics analysis which have met the indicators, then cooperative learning of the combination type of Jigsaw and NHT on Mathematics learning results is effective.
