ABSTRAK WIWIK ANDRIANI. 2014. Deskripsi Kesulitan Guru Matematika dalam Mengimplementasikan Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Bulukumba. (Dibimbing oleh Pembimbing I Alimuddin dan Pembimbing II Awi Dassa) Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan guru matematika dalam memahami dan mengimpementasikan buku guru dan buku siswa kurikulum 2013. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama dengan instrumen pendukung adalah tes penguasaan, lembar observasi, rubrik penilaian sikap, dan wawancara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes penguasaan untuk melihat pemahaman dan pengetahuan guru matematika terhadap buku guru dan buku siswa kurikulum 2013. Observasi untuk mengamati guru dalam mengimplementasikan buku guru dan buku siswa, rubrik sikap untuk melihat sikap guru terhadap penerapan buku guru dan buku siswa kurikulum 2013, dan wawancara untuk mengetahui kesulitan guru dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan buku guru dan buku siswa kurikulum 2013. Subjek penelitian ini guru matematika SMP Negeri Kabupaten Bulukumba yang telah menerapkan kurikulum 2013 yang terdiri dari 4 subjek yang masing-masing diambil dari 4 sekolah yang berbeda. Proses penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunjungi keempat sekolah yang diteliti dengan memberikan tes penguasaan, kemudian mengamati guru mengimplementasikan buku guru dan buku siswa, selanjutnya mewawancarai keempat subjek tersebut Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek sulit memahami dan mengimplementasikan buku guru dan buku siswa karena subjek kseulitan dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan konten materi buku guru dan buku siswa kurikulum 2013. Subjek kesulitan mengaitkan buku guru dan buku siswa dengan kompetensi dasar yang ingin dicapai. Subjek kesulitan memahami kecukupan dan kedalaman materi buku guru dan buku siswa kurikulum 2013. Subjek kesulitan memahami keterkaitan buku guru dan buku siswa dengan penerapan tahap pendekatan saintific. Serta subjek kesulitan dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan keterkaitan buku guru dan buku siswa kurikulum 2013 dengan penilaian authentic. WIWIK ANDRIANI. 2014. The instruments of the study were the research as the main instrument and test of mastery, observation sheet, rubric of attitude assessment, and interview as the supporting instruments. Observation was to observe teachers in implementing teacher and students’ book, rubric of attitude to examine teachers’ attitude on the implemention of teacher and students’ bookof curriculum 2013, and interview to examine problems of teachers in understanding and implementing teacher and students’ book of curriculum 2013. The subjects of the study were Math teachers at SMPN in Bulukumba who implemented curriculum 2013 consisted of 4 subjects taken from 4 different schools. The process of research was conducted by visiting those four schools and giving test of mastery. Then observation was conducted to teachers in implementing teacher and students’ book, and interview to four subjects. The results of the study reveal that the subjects have difficulties in understanding and implementing teacher and students’ book of curriculum 2013. The subjects have problem in relating tachre and students’ book with basic competence to be achieved. The subjects have problems in understanding the sufficient and depth of the material of teacher and students’ book of curriculum 2013. The subject have problem in understanding the relation of teachers and students’ book and the implementation using saintific approach.
